A year and a month after the last Chester Decorative Antiques & Art Fair, the popular Northwest event returns to the Grandstand Pavilion at Chester Racecourse from 7 – 9 October.
‘We are delighted to be back,’ says organiser Sue Ede ‘This fair has been running since 1989 and is very popular with collectors across the region. We provide a high-quality event with leading specialist dealers offering everything from traditional art and antiques to interior design pieces, jewellery, collector’s items and so much more.’
The Grandstand at Chester Racecourse has been extensively refurbished in the past three years and now the fair will benefit from an additional exhibition room on the ground floor. The room will provide space for several exhibitors, now including F.E.Anderson from Welshpool, the well-known, will be returning with a fine selection of English and Welsh oak and country furniture.
Also showing for the first time will be Gladwells Rutland, the fine art specialists who promise a range of 19th and 20th century works including pictures by the French impressionists.
Among the regular returning dealers will be local Chester furniture specialist Mike Melody Antiques, Rowles Fine Art from Ludlow with fine late 19th and 20th century paintings, watercolours and sculpture, and Church Street Antiques from Altrincham with designer interior pieces including sofas and mirrors…….
