A display of superb antique furniture belonging to one of Yorkshire’s leading antiques specialists, Elaine Phillips Antiques, will be a major attraction at The Pavilions of Harrogate Decorative Antiques & Fine Art Fair, 27 -29 January 2023.
With a history going back to the 1960’s, Elaine Phillips Antiques were formerly based in Harrogate town centre for many years. Today, Elaine’s daughter, Louise Phillips, runs the family business from premises near Leyburn and sells to clients across the country. Louise also provides a complete interior design service. Louise also holds the post of Chairman of the British Antique Dealers’ Association(BADA).
Among exhibits belonging to Elaine Phillips Antiques will be fine set of late eighteenth century ladderback Lancashire country dining chairs, a very fashionable and useful large 19th century oak farmhouse table and a fine and rare 17th century oak wall cupboard.
The popular Pavilions of Harrogate Decorative, Antiques & Art Fair features more than 45 specialist dealers offering for sale a wide range of high-quality exhibits encompassing rare and decorative pieces from the from 1600 to the present day.

The Fair offers everything from fine paintings to Persian rugs, garden statuary, traditional and mid-century modern furniture to eye-catching, ceramics, glass and objets d’art. Among the many exhibitors will be Harrogate-based Sutcliffe Fine Art and Walker Galleries, specializing in a fine selection of traditional and contemporary works of art by both local and international artists.
Art Deco ceramics, glass and silver will be on display from Brian Ashbee and Wes Wotruba Antiques; John Newton Antiques offers 20th century studio pottery and porcelain; Garret & Hurst promise a superb collection of French and European bronze sculpture, and Highland Antiques will specialise in antique silver.
Showing furniture and decorative pieces will be Mark Buckley Antiques late Victorian and early 20th century walnut furniture and bronzes, and Melody Antiques with country furniture and collectables.
