The Pavilions of Harrogate Decorative Antiques & Fine Art Fair returns to The Great Yorkshire Showground, from 21 – 23 October 2022.
This popular autumn event features more than 45 specialist dealers offering for sale a wide range of high-quality exhibits encompassing rare and decorative pieces from the from 1600 to the present day. Says organiser Sue Ede from Cooper Fairs: ‘Buying antiques today appeals for many different reasons, from collectors looking to add to their personal collections to people seeking to individualise their homes with choice decorative pieces. Art and antiques have a lasting value and can be enjoyed and treasured for generations. For today’s generation, they are the
ultimate in sustainable living’.

The Pavilions Fair offers everything from fine paintings to Persian rugs, garden statuary, traditional and mid-century modern furniture to eye-catching, ceramics, glass and objets d’art.

Among the many exhibitors will be Harrogatebased dealerships Sutcliffe Fine Art and Walker Galleries, specializing in a fine selection of traditional and contemporary works of art by both local and international artists. A painting by George Weatherill (1810-1890), often described as ‘The Turner of the North’, will be a major attraction with Walker Galleries. Titled ‘The East Cliff, Whitby’ this fine painted watercolour is a depiction of the coastal light over the cliffs at Whitby with fishing boats in the distance.

Showing furniture and decorative pieces will be Mark Buckley Antiques late Victorian and early 20th
century walnut furniture and bronzes, and Melody Antiques with country furniture and collectables….
