The Pavilions of Harrogate Summer Fair
Leading art and antiques specialists from across Yorkshire will be exhibiting a range of fabulous treasures at The Pavilions of Harrogate Antiques & Fine Art Fair at The Great Yorkshire Showground, from 21st – 23rd June 2013.
Featuring high quality period furniture, paintings, fine porcelain, early pottery, antiquities, Persian and Oriental carpets, antiquarian
prints, rare silver and superb jewellery, the fair is a summer highlight Fairwind Aft, by Montague Dawson, to for collectors and connoisseurs across the North of England. Held in be shown by E. Stacy Marks. two sumptuous rooms of the Pavilions venue, there is something for everyone with prices from £25 to more than £25,000.
Among the Yorkshire dealers exhibiting will be one of the UK’s longest established galleries, E. StacyMarks from Helmsley who will be showing a number of high quality works including dramatic paintings of famous sailing ships by Montague Dawson (1895-1973) and enticing French countryside landscapes by Marcel Dyf (1899-1985).
Also local will be John Newton who specialises in 19th and 20th century, including rare mid-20th century silver overlay porcelain so popular with Art Deco and vintage enthusiasts. Victorian and Edwardian furniture will be shown by Mark Buckley Antiques. Mark’s display will include a superb inlaid walnut and mahogany furniture in the Georgian style, including chairs, settees, cabinets, bookcases and desks.
J.C.Antiques from Wetherby will be showing oak and country furniture, clocks and complimentary brass and copperware from the 18th and 19th centuries.

Also from Yorkshire will be and Nicholas Daly Books, showing a number of rare and out-of-print specialist publications for collectors.
The fair features many specialists. Jane Kirksopp Reed from Northumberland promises a range of
Georgian, Victorian and Edwardian pieces including mirrors, chairs, lamps and decorative pieces. Jo Brayshaw from Newcastle-upon-Tyne returns with period lighting, silver and glass while M. & N. Rugs from Manchester offer a colorful display of 19th and early 20th century Persian and Oriental carpets and rugs. From Chester, Melody Antiques will be bringing a stock of 18th and 19th century oak and mahogany furniture including farmhouse dressers, farmhouse tables and sets of ladder-back chairs.
The Pavilions of Harrogate is part of the Great Yorkshire Showground, located just a few minutes from Harrogate town centre. It has ample parking and is well known for its many facilities, which include high quality catering and fine dining.
Admission to the fair will be £5.00 and the open hours will be 11am-5pm daily.
